The Team
Ebere N. Leandre, Ph.D, MPH, RN, BCMHC
Founder & President, Amazing Grace Christian Counseling Services Inc.
Dr. Ebere N. Leandre is the visionary founder and president of Amazing Grace Christian Counseling Services Inc., dedicated to promoting mental health, self-care, and overall wellness through faith-based counseling and coaching.
She currently serves in the Health Services Division of a public school system in Virginia, bringing her expertise in public health and nursing to support the well-being of students and families.
In addition to her professional work, Dr. Leandre is an ordained minister at Calvary Gospel Church (CGC) in Waldorf, Maryland, under the pastoral leadership of Dr. Timothy Wood.
Her passion for empowering individuals through education and counseling extends beyond the church, as she actively engages in public health advocacy and community outreach.
Minister Ebere holds a Ph.D. in Public Health (Epidemiology), a Master’s in Public Health (Community Health Education), and a Bachelor’s in Nursing. As a certified mental health counselor, author, and publisher, she continues to make a meaningful impact in both faith-based and professional spaces.
Affectionately known as “Ebe” by close friends, she shares her journey in ministry and family life with her husband, Engineer (Minister) Alland Leandre, MBA. Together, they serve as devoted co-laborers in God’s vineyard. Ebe and Al are abundantly blessed with eight children and numerous grandchildren, making faith, family, and service the cornerstones of their lives.
Dr. Charlotte Harris
Board-Certified Pastoral Counselor | Minister | Author
Dr. Charlotte Harris is a Board-Certified Pastoral Counselor through the International Board of Christian Care with over 15 years of counseling-related activities, training, and caregiving. During this time, she has encouraged clients to express their feelings and discuss what is happening in their lives and also helped them to develop insight into themselves and their relationships.
She counsels clients individually and in group sessions, to assist in overcoming dependencies, adjusting to life, and making changes.
Dr. Harris is an ordained minister of the Gospel with the gift of sharing the Bible in very down-to-earth and practical ways. As an ordained minister at Calvary Gospel Church in Waldorf, MD, her ministry work includes preaching the Gospel, being co-director of the Women’s Ministry, and teaching the adult Sunday School class.
Dr. Harris holds a Doctorate of Ministry degree, two Masters degrees, and a host of other degrees and credentials. A published author, her current book is called Taking the Training Wheels Off of Your Faith: Growing in the Grace and Knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Charlotte has been married to DuShaun Harris for 32 years and together, they have two grown children.
Pastor Dana Coleman
Associate Pastor | Christian Counselor & Coach | Ministry Leader
Pastor Dana Coleman is a dedicated ordained pastor at Calvary Gospel Church (CGC) in Waldorf, MD, serving as an Associate Pastor under the leadership of Senior Pastor Timothy R. Wood. With a passion for ministry and spiritual growth, she oversees a broad range of church initiatives, including CGC Events, Women’s Ministry, Youth Ministry, Intercessory Prayer, Evangelism & Outreach, Pastoral Care, Family Development, Discipleship, and Fitness. Additionally, Pastor Dana leads the College and Career program, equipping young adults with biblical wisdom and guidance for their future.
Dr. Coleman holds a Doctorate of Ministry and is a credentialed Christian counselor and coach, providing faith-based support to individuals and families seeking personal and spiritual development.
She is happily married to Lamar Coleman, and together they are blessed with three adult children and a grandchild. Through her leadership, counseling, and dedication to ministry, Pastor Coleman continues to empower, encourage, and uplift those she serves, helping them grow in faith and purpose.
Minister Dana L. Wallace
Ordained Minister | Veteran | Christian Mental Health Coach
Minister Dana L. Wallace, a native of San Bernardino, CA and has dedicated her life to service—both to her country and to God. After completing high school, she enlisted in the United States Navy, where she served with honor for 24 years before retiring.
Coming from a rich legacy of preachers, evangelists, gospel singers, and community activists, Minister Wallace answered the call to ministry and is now an Ordained Minister at Calvary Gospel Church in Waldorf, MD, under the leadership of Dr. Timothy Wood.
She has a strong educational foundation with degrees in Human Services (AAS) and Arts & Science (AA) from the College of Southern Maryland, along with a Bachelor of Biblical Science (BBS) from Calvary Christian College. Additionally, she is a Certified Christian Mental Health Coach through Light University, equipping her to provide faith-based support and guidance to those in need.
Minister Wallace has been happily married for 33 years to Deacon Richard A. Wallace, MBA, and together they are blessed with two children, Kendra and Jonathan. Through her ministry, counseling, and dedication to service, she continues to inspire and uplift those around her, sharing the love of Christ in all she does.
Dr. Yemi Lawanson, BA, M.SC, ED.D, C-MHC, C-NCHE
Certified Christian Counselor | Mental Health Coach | Educator & Mentor
Dr. Yemi Lawanson is a certified Christian counselor and mental health coach dedicated to helping individuals overcome life's obstacles. With a compassionate and faith-based approach, she specializes in guiding clients to identify their personal strengths, reframe their thinking patterns, better manage emotions, and develop problem-solving skills that foster resilience and personal growth.
Dr. Lawanson holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Delaware State University, along with mental health certifications from Lighthouse University. She earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master’s degrees from universities abroad and has devoted over 30 years to public education, serving in various roles that support, teach, and mentor young men and women.
With 19 years of specialized experience working with youth and young adults (ages 14 and older), Dr. Lawanson has mentored and guided individuals from early adolescence through adulthood, equipping them with the tools to navigate life’s challenges. She also serves as a McKinney-Vento Ally partner in a public school system and is certified by the National Center for Homeless Education (NCHE) to support individuals facing housing insecurity and related difficulties.
As an educational leader, she provides life coaching for adults in various aspects, helping them achieve personal and professional growth. Beyond her work in counseling and education, Dr. Lawanson is deeply committed to ministry. She serves as the Prayer Ministry Leader in her local church and other organizations, integrating biblical principles and the power of prayer into her counseling practice.
Dr. Lawanson’s life’s work is centered on faith, mentorship, and empowerment, helping individuals discover hope, healing, and purpose through Christian counseling and prayer-based guidance.
